Jessie's Inquiry update

What are you up to now?
I am currently up to the literature review. What this means is that I will be researching data that will back up my question which is... "Is the conspiracy theory about the moon being a hologram that has been created by the government true? If so why would the government tell us that the moon is a real object?"

How did I get here?

I am up to the literature review because I wrote around 50 different questions based upon the environment and space.I then had to narrow it down to one question and craft it in three different ways so then when I am researching I know what information I need to look for and be in more death when I am doing the activities for the question.

Where to next?
My next step in this activity is to write my literature review which is facts that I know about the question, study methods and to research some theories that have not been proven yet.

Inquiry Update - Adrian

So far I have finished question storming and have further refined my question to make a vary focused question. In my inquiry my favorite part was the question storming  because I was able to go wild and explore lots of different questions.

Inquiry Update- Nicolas

So far I have done my questions, Craft your questions and a justify The reasons why  I chose these questions. The stage I have enjoyed the most is the Questions because they lets us make any question we liked but it had to be related to the environment. The other stages weren't so fun because I don't think they necessary.

Cole's ALIENS Inquiry

Hi guys, I have chosen to do my inquiry on what will happen if Global Warming destroys Earth? my aim is to find a possible answer and explain what we will have to do to survive.-Cole

Inquiry Update Aiden

Aiden's Inquiry update:
Where am i up to?
I am currently up to the literature review. I have choose my question and are very confident that it is the one I want to research. My question is "Which organisms can survive in space?" I really like this question because it is a very strange environment and it interests me to see if anything can survive without equipment

Sunday 22 May 2016

In Aliens, we had to fill out a Google Doc on biological sampling and environments. We did a question storm consisting of 50 questions.

We then had to choose a question out of the 50 questions and had to rephrase it 3 times. My question was 'What is the difference between the amount of craters on Earth and Mars'.

Then we had to state why we wanted to investigate in this question. I wanted to investigate in that question because I was fascinated and interested in the differences of planets that are already so unlike each other

Next we are supposed to do a literature review which includes of known fact, methods of study and theories (things that have not yet been proven)

Inquiry Update

Where am I up to?

For this current inquiry I am up to the literature review. In this review I need to summarise everything I find out about my chosen topic, by finding facts to back up my statements.

How did I get there?

For this inquiry I am up to the literature review because I have generated many different questions I have about space and the environment. I have also narrowed down my questions by choosing my favourite and improving it, and then I justified why  chose that question.

Where to next?

For this inquiry my next step is to complete the literature review by using the reflexagons to help me create my literature review summary. I will need to make sure I research my question and find the correct information. I will need to back up my facts with examples so that I can show that I have found the correct information for my chosen question.

I am now wondering......

For this inquiry I am now wondering if I will find any new interesting information that I can then build on more. I am also wondering if any organisms can survive on other planets, which is my research question.

Inquiry update - Tia

Where are you up to?
I have come up with my final question which is, Could we recreate this area/these plants on another planet or in extreme earth environments like the arctic or savannah desert.

how did you get there?
I got here by writing 50 questions about space and the environment then i picked one and wrote it 3 different ways and picked out my final question.

Where to next?
I am now going to write literature review which is a summary of everything that is known so far about about the subject. This might include:
  • Known facts
  • Methods of study
  • Theories (things that have not yet been proven)
